Magkasama Tayo sa Kwento ng Pasko lyrics
ABS-CBN 2013 Christmas Station ID theme

Bawat Pasko'y may dalang himala
Malakas mang ulan, ito'y titila
Bubuhos ang pagpapala
May kapiling ang nangungulila

Anumang lungkot, tayo'y aahon
May lunas sa sugat ng kahapon
Sa isa't isa'y mayrong paglingap
Mga pangarap, ngayo'y magaganap

Refrain:
Laging masaya ang kwento ng Pasko
Dahil sino ka man, may nagmamahal sa'yo
Ngayong Kapaskuhan ang pangako ko
Sa puso ko'y magkasama tayo

Chorus:
Sa iisang awit ngayong Pasko
Magkayakap ang tinig ko't sa iyo
Sa 'ting himig, ipagdiriwang ang pag-ibig
At ito ay tatawid sa buong daigdig

Sa iisang awit ngayong Pasko
Magkayakap ang tinig ko't sa iyo
Sa 'ting himig, nadarama na ang mahalaga
Ay magkasama tayo sa kwento ng Pasko

wo-oh wo-oh-oh
wo-oh wo-oh-oh
Kwento ng Pasko

Mga ala-ala sa Pasko'y di kumukupas
Ilang taon pa man ang lumipas
Dahil ang bawat damdamin
Umuukit nang malalim

Marangya man ang pagdiriwang
Kahit simpleng kasiyahan
Ang tunay na may kayamanan
Pamilyang nagmamahalan

(Repeat Refrain)
(Repeat Chorus)

Bridge:
Magbago man lahat sa mundo
Nananatili ang diwa ng Pasko
Ang pagpapala ay hindi mauubos
Himala ng Pasko ay hiwaga ng Diyos

(Repeat Chorus)

Sa iisang awit ngayong Pasko
Magkayakap ang tinig ko't sa iyo
Sa 'ting himig, nadarama na ang mahalaga
Nasaan man sa mundo, magkasama tayo
Nasaan man sa mundo, magkasama tayo
Sa kwento ng Pasko

(Repeat Chorus 3x)

Isang kwento
Iisang kwento
Kwento ng Pasko

Toda Max Spoofs 'The Voice of the Philippines' (August 17); Who will be the coaches?

Posted on August 16, 2013 | 5:26 PM

Following the trend of one of today’s hottest singing competitions, ABS-CBN’s “The Voice of the Philippines”, the hit comedy show “Toda Max” gives its own rendition of a battle of the voices with its very own “Toda Voice”.

Toda Max version of 'The Voice of the Philippines' - Toda Voice

Auditions will be held in order to join in on the competition, with the coaches being Bamboo’s, Apl.de.Ap’s, Sarah Geronimo’s, and Lea Salonga’s kalokalikes—and all those in Beverly Gils who think they have a talent for singing are eager to find out if they have what it takes to make the judges’ chairs turn.

One of the community’s tricycle drivers, Boogie (Bugoy Drilon) happens to have that knack for singing. However, with his confidence running low, he struggles to bring himself to sing in front of other people. Isabel (Angel Locsin) and Justin (Vhong Navarro), though, have heard Boogie sing—and because of the potential that they know he has, they push him to believe in himself, hoping that he tries out for “Toda Voice”.

Will Isabel and Justin have what it takes to coach Boogie behind the scenes so that he can show his true talent?

Find out in this week’s episode of “Toda Max”, airing on Saturday (August 17) on ABS-CBN Channel 2 after “Maalaala Mo Kaya”.

The Voice of the Philippines Battle Rounds Preview (Video)

Posted on July 23, 2013 | 3:31 PM

The Voice of the Philippines is just one episode away from the much-awaited Battle Rounds which will premiere on Sunday, July 28.  After the Blind Auditions, the next round will be called The Battles which was taped at the ABS-CBN Studio 10 (ASAP Studio) three weeks ahead of its scheduled telecast.

The Voice of the Philippines Battle Rounds

In the Battle rounds, the four superstar-coaches Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, Bamboo and Apl de Ap trimmed down the number of members in their team by pairing them up in a singing showdown happening atop a stage similar to a boxing ring.

The two-day taping saw 24 battles but compared to its US and UK counterparts, The Voice of the Philippines will have a triangle fight which means that some battles will have three members in the showdown instead of just two. The triangle fight was due to a surprise twist revealed last Sunday, adding one artist per team instead of the original 12. CLICK HERE for the list of members of each team.

Watch the Battle Rounds preview below.

In all the battles, only one artist who impresses their coach will advance to the live shows which will happen at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. The Battles will air for 7 episodes so expect the live shows to start on August 24.

The Battle rounds of The Voice PH was also made unique by the presence of each team's advisor during the battles. The "trusted advisers" (Joey Ayala for Team Bamboo, Gary Valenciano for Team Sarah, Gerard Salonga for Team Lea and Arnel Pineda for Team Apl), helped the coaches in honing their respective artists prior to the Battle rounds.
