Be Careful With My Heart Trashes All Kapuso Primetime Shows

Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap’s hit romantic-comedy series “Be Careful With My Heart” has become a worldwide phenomenon that local and global Filipinos are watching it on air through ABS-CBN and online via iWanTV.com.ph. Its impressive nationwide TV ratings even surpassed GMA primetime shows.

Be Careful With My Heart Trashes All Kapuso Primetime Shows

Based on the data last Thursday (July 25) from Kantar Media that cover urban and rural homes nationwide, “Be Careful With My Heart” garnered 23% national TV ratings, besting all six primetime shows of GMA namely, Binoy Henyo (10.3%), 24 Oras (17.9%), Anna Karenina (21.7%), Mundo Mo’y Akin (21.7%), My Husband’s Lover (15.6%), and The Innocent Man (8.5%).

With the recent twists and turns in the story, Maya (Jodi) and Ser Chief’s (Richard) legions of fans will surely won’t miss a single episode of “Be Careful With My Heart” notably now that the parents of Richard, especially his mother Doña Esmeralda Lim (Marissa Delgado), are making efforts to know her ‘girlfriend’ better. Will Doña Esmeralda wholeheartedly accept Maya as her son’s new love? How will Richard help Maya to win his parents’ support for their relationship?

National TV Ratings (July 17-18): Muling Buksan Ang Puso Ranks 2nd Nationwide

This year's biggest drama, Muling Buksan Ang Puso is back as the second most-watched program nationwide after it was overtaken by TV Patrol.

According to the nationwide TV ratings provided by Kantar Media/TNS, Muling Buksan Ang Puso got 29.6% and 28.7% on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Meanwhile, it's rival program, Mundo Mo'y Akin is banking on its last few weeks plug, as well as on the transformation of its lead character, achieving higher ratings recently.

Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala has also recovered from last Tuesday's lowest rating, regaining 20% plus ratings and still winning by a thin margin against My Husband's Lover. Here are the Top 10 daytime and primetime programs on July 17-18, 2013 among Total Philippines (Urban & Rural) households:

National TV Ratings (July 15-16): Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala Faces Strong Competition in My Husband's Lover

Judy Ann Santos starrer Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala registered its lowest rating since it was placed at a later timeslot. On Tuesday (July 16), the show got 19.7%, just 4% ahead of rival My Husband's Lover.

Meanwhile, Juan Dela Cruz is the unbeatable primetime leader, followed by ABS-CBN's flagship newscast TV Patrol, overtaking family drama Muling Buksan Ang Puso in third place. Kapuso programs like Anna KareNina and Mundo Mo'y Akin also enjoyed higher viewership since Ina Kapatid Anak left primetime TV.

ABS-CBN Debunks GMA-7's Claim of Primetime Leadership; Slaps Rival with Nationwide TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s hit superhero primetime series “Juan dela Cruz” starring Teleserye King Coco Martin continues to lead in the latest nationwide TV ratings, making it as the most-watched TV program in the country.

Based on the latest data last Wednesday (July 17) from Kantar Media that uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population, “Juan dela Cruz” continues to rule primetime TV with an impressive national TV ratings of 35.9%, or 14 points higher than its rival program “Anna Karenina,” which GMA claims to be ‘dominating its time slot.’

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” enjoyed high viewership as the second most-watched TV program with a 29.6% national TV ratings contrary to claims that GMA’s “Mundo Mo’y Akin” is the ‘most-watched drama series on primetime.’ Based on data from Kantar Media, “Mundo Mo’y Akin” lagged behind “Muling Buksan Ang Puso” by as much as 8 points.

Likewise, the fast-paced Kapamilya drama “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” topbilled Pinoy Soap Opera Queen Judy Ann Santos, has kept its loyal viewers on the edge of their seats as it still ruled its timeslot with 21.9% national TV ratings. Its rival “My Husband’s Lover” continues to lose steam and rated only 16.5% despite claims that it has more viewers.

Apart from its winning drama series, ABS-CBN’s flagship TV newscast “TV Patrol” remains to be the most-watched news program in the country. “TV Patrol” became the third most-watched TV program with a national TV rating of 28.8% or 10 points higher than “24 Oras” (18.7%).

Family drama series “Annaliza,” topbilled by fast-rising Kapamilya child star Andrea Brillantes, and hit Koreanovela “That Winter The Wind Blows” continue to charm more TV viewers as proven by the recent national TV ratings. “Annaliza” ruled its timeslot with 18.5%, beating its rival show “Home Sweet Home” that only scored 11.2%. While, the Kapamilya Koreanovela won with 9.9%, trouncing GMA’s “Padam Padam The Music of Their Hearts,” which only got 7.2%.

'Ina Kapatid Anak' Thrashes GMA-7 New Teleserye 'Mundo Mo'y Akin'

ABS-CBN’s no.1 family drama series “Ina Kapatid Anak” keeps everyone at the edge of their seats with the non-stop confrontational scenes between the well-loved characters of primetime princesses Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador.

In fact, based on the data from Kantar Media last Monday (March 18), “Ina Kapatid Anak” garnered 32.2% national TV ratings, beating two rival teleseryes in GMA namely “Indio” that only got 19% and the pilot episode of “Mundo Mo’y Akin,” which only scored 16.2% national TV ratings.

National TV Ratings (March 15-18): Little Champ Pilots Moderately; Kahit Konting Pagtingin Rating Drops Lowest in New Timeslot

ABS-CBN newest fantaserye Little Champ aired its pilot episode on Monday, March 18 and it garnered 17% nationwide, enough to beat rival Koreanovela. Lito Lapid's first TV series replaced Kahit Konting Pagtingin on its early primetime slot.

Meanwhile, the show of Angeline Quinto hit its lowest TV rating since it premiered last January. Now airing on Kapamilya Gold afternoon slot, Kahit Konting Pagtingin registered 9.8%.

Mundo Mo'y Akin featuring the return of Louise-Alden tandem on TV debuted at 16.2% to claim the 6th spot on primetime. However, it was unable to beat its Kapamilya rival show just like its predecessor, Pahiram ng Sandali which ended on Friday, March 15.
