National TV Ratings (August 23-24): Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala Ends on a High Note; Eat Bulaga, Showtime Tie

The finale episode of Judy Ann Santos' Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala garnered 32.5% TV ratings nationwide and is the second most-watched program last Friday, following Juan Dela Cruz.

National TV Ratings (August 23-24): Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala Ends on a High Note; Eat Bulaga, Showtime Tie

Eat Bulaga and It's Showtime tied in first place on Saturday, August 24. After being beaten for days, the ABS-CBN noontime show equaled rival when it featured the Parade of Stars of Kalokalike Face 2. Meanwhile, Saturday primetime supremacy belongs to MMK, beating rival Magpakailanman by almost 13 points.

National TV Ratings (August 10): The Voice of the Philippines Hits Lowest Rating of 23.6%

The country's number 1 and Twitter-trending singing-reality show The Voice of the Philippines registered its lowest rating of 23.6% on Saturday (August 10).

The Voice of the Philippines was pitted against the semis game of Gilas Pilipinas and South Korea which got 14.5%, the highest it got so far in weekend primetime. Viewers were obviously torn between the historic game and The Voice PH.

Meanwhile, Maalaala Mo Kaya of Meg Imperial and Bryan Santos beat the Charice Pempengco story featured in Magpakailanman (33.0% versus 17.3%). MMK is still the number 1 show every Saturday.

Maalaala Mo Kaya replay episode of Arjo Atayde about the students of Mababoy Elementary School topped nationwide TV ratings on Saturday, June 29 beating Magpakailanman starring Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras.

National TV Ratings (June 29-30): MMK Replay and The Voice PH Top Weekend Viewing

Meanwhile, The Voice of the Philippines continues its winning streak ranking 3rd on Saturday and topping nationwide TV ratings on Sunday with 28% and 29.1%, respectively. Toy Story 3 on ABS-CBN topped TV rating on Sunday daytime followed by Sharlene San Pedro's entry in LUV U, beating ASAP 18 replay.

National TV Ratings (February 16-17): Meg Imperial's MMK Hits 37%; Drowns Magpakailanman

The Maalala Mo Kaya episode of Meg Imperial and Ketchup Eusebio brought back MMK's glory in the Saturday evening slot. The said Valentine's episode garnered 37% TV rating nationwide, beating Magpakailanman's 15.9% and making MMK the most-watched last Saturday.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 4 pilot episode also ranked high in TV ratings with 29.6%. It's Sunday episode snatched the top spot wit 25.8%. Meanwhile, ASAP 18 (13.8%) and LUV U (10.8%) are also winners outranking Party Pilipinas (8.1%) and Teen Gen (6.4%).

National TV Ratings (February 9-10): Magpakailanman Beats MMKMagpakailanman beats longest running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya since the return of the former. The Mel Chiangco-hosted show got 25.1% TV rating nationwide on Saturday (February 9) compared to MMK's 23.5%.

Meanwhile, Wansapanataym and Rated K topped Saturday and Sunday viewing, respectively. The grand finale (live cook-off) of Masterchef Pinoy Edition is also most watched on daytime with 19.2% while the finale episode of Sarah G Live ! on Sunday made it to the top 5 primetime programs.

National TV Ratings (February 2-3): MMK faces Serious Competition in MagpakailanmanAsia's longest drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya came in very close with rival Magpakailanman in national TV ratings last Saturday, February 2. MMK got 27.5% rating, with only 4.5% advantage to the returning Kapuso drama anthology.

Meanwhile, Wansapanataym and Rated K topped nationwide viewing last weekend. ASAP 18th anniversary celebration was also a hit among viewers beating its rival Party Pilipinas.

Kantar Media (December 1-2) TV Ratings: GMA-7's Weekend Rigodon Ineffective

Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho vs Rated K; Magpakailanman vs MMK; Kap's Amazing Stories vs WansapanataymABS-CBN shows still won in nationwide TV ratings despite Kapuso programs' weekend rigodon. MMK is still up with the returning Magpakailanman while Kap's Amazing Stories, formerly a Sunday show was no match to new rival, Wansapanataym.

Rated K and Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho tied in nationwide TV ratings the first time the two magazine shows went head to head. KMJS, a Saturday program was moved to a Sunday primetime slot to beef up GMA-7's weekend line up. Meanwhile, Manny Many Prizes was unable to catch up in TV ratings since battling with ABS-CBN's Sunday afternoon teen show, LUV U.

Kantar Media (November 17-18) TV Ratings: ASAP is 'Most-Liked', not Party PilipinasABS-CBN's Sunday musical variety show ASAP 2012 is the 'most-liked' nationwide than its rival Party Pilipinas based on the TV ratings provided by Kantar Media/TNS. ASAP Astig episode beat the PP Most Liked Awards what episode last Sunday, November 18.

Meanwhile, MMK 20 has made Magpakailanman down to its knees after inching almost 15 points in TV ratings. Wansapanataym starring Sam Milby and Empress and Goin' Bulilit topped Saturday and Sunday viewing, respectively.

MMK Beats Magpakailanman Pilot Episode (Redux) in TV Ratings

Asia’s longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” ruled its timeslot on Saturday (November 17), beating the pilot episode of its returning rival show by almost 15 points.

Based on the latest data from Kantar Media, the “MMK” episode topbilled by Kean Cipriano and Yen Santos garnered 30.6% national TV ratings, while GMA’s “Magpakailanman” only got 15.9%.

Meanwhile, well-acclaimed actress Dina Bonnevie will make TV viewers cry in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 24) as she will portray the role of Bebeng, a dedicated wife and mother to her 13 kids, who would always draw strength from her flower shop business in times of trials.


Together with Dina in the upcoming “MMK” episode are William Lorenzo, BJ Forbes, Cajo Gomez, Angeli Gonzales, Ogie Escanilla, Miguelito De Guzman, Nicole Ampil, Ogie Diaz, Onse Tolentino, John Medina, at Lemuel Pelayo. It was researched by Joyce Villavicencio, written by Joan Habana, and directed by Nuel C. Naval.

Don’t miss another heavy family drama this Saturday in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK), after “Wansapanataym” on ABS-CBN.
